Raipur : P. Raghavan, working president of the Chhattisgarh Vikas Party, a regional political outfit, joined the Congress Thursday.
Raghavan, a retired IAS officer, made the announcement in the presence of state Congress president Dhanendra Sahu and several senior leaders.
The Chhattisgarh Vikas Party mainly raises issues related to the indigenous people of the state.
