Ranchi : The bodies of a journalist and a trainee were found in a jungle in Jharkhand Wednesday, the police said.
According to the police, the bodies of Sahdeo Pandey and trainee journalist Mohammad Nazir were recovered from Telo jungle in Bokaro district on Wednesday, some 170 Km from here.
Pandey was working as a reporter for the Hindustan newspaper from Chandrapura block of Bokaro district.
Both of them were returning to Bermo from Chandrapura on a motercycle. They went missing on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, they were hit with heavy stones and later strangulated to death. The police have started investigating the killings.
“We are working on two angles. First could be a case of robbery and second could be cold-blooded murder.” a police official of Bokaro district told IANS.
