Baghdad : At least 21 people were killed in a suicide bomb attack in Abu Ghraib district of the Iraqi capital Sunday, an official said.
The suicide bomber triggered the bomb at a gathering, where people were celebrating the release of prisoners from Bucca camp, an official said on condition of anonymity.
Around 32 people, including women and children, were injured in the attack, the official said.
The area is mostly occupied by Sunni tribe.
This was one of the major attacks in Baghdad recently. On July 28, at least 24 people were killed in suicide bomb attacks during a Shia religious gathering in the Iraqi capital.
