Bhopal girl to represent India in Brazil

Bhopal: Aishwarya Kumari Singh Deo of Bhopal, who has won the title the Horlicks Wiz Kid India 2007-08, is all set to represent India in Brazil.

In all four students from India have been selected to represent “The India Children’s Charter of Human Responsibilities” in Brazil. The four-member team comprising of Anees Backer from Toch Public School, Kochi; Afrah Saleem from NASR School, Hyderabad; Aishwarya Kumari Singh Deo from The Sanskar Valley School Bhopal and Shrea Kapoor from RN Podar School, Mumbai had vied with 47 finalists from all over India and emerged victorious to form the Horlicks Wiz Kid Team India 2007-08.

Aishwarya is leaving for Sao Paulo, Brazil on April 4. She will be interacting with children, media from the Youth magazine and attend a meeting at the Aora Institute in defense of voters and democracy. A press meeting would take place with the International alliance of journalists and ACE foreign correspondents association.

On day three there would be a meeting with the Youth collective Sao Paulo and state members of the II Environmental national conference of children from local organizations. On day four she will go to the national capital Brasilia, where she will meet the Minister for Education. On day 5 there will be meetings with NGOs in Sao Paulo. She will then leave for Paraty the same day where she will be involved in a social project related to the ex-slave community at Campinho. and also visit the tropical rain forests. Day 6 and 7 will have cultural programs and sightseeing along with an exchange program with the school people and a meeting with the head of the institute.
