Bhopal: The Popular Front of India, (PFI), has decided to hold “Social Justice Conference” (Samajik Nyay Conference) at New Delhi on November 26 and 27 this year.
The decision was taken at the two days meeting of the National Executive Council of the PFI which was held at its headquarters in New Delhi.
The conference sessions on various aspects of social justice issue will be concluded with a grand public meeting to be convened in the Ramlila ground on the second day. A nation-wide conference campaign is designed to take out the conference message to every nook and corner of the country.
A PFI Press release said K. M. Shareef, General Secretary of Popular Front, stated that the purpose of this national conference is to create awareness among the people about the need of a socio-political change which will ensure equal justice in every sphere and all sections of the society. The conference and preceding campaign will also propagate the message of civic rights and duties among the citizens. He said that Social Justice Conference will highlight the theme “Build Nation on Justice” (Mulk Banao Insaaf Par).
An organizing committee has been constituted for the conduct of the conference with Muhammad Ali Jinnah as general convenor, Muhammad Shafi and Muhammad Roshan as convenors.
PFI Chairman E.M. Abdul Rahiman, Muhammad Shahabuddin, Muhammad Khalid, Moulana Usman Baig, Moulana Kalimullah Rashadi, Adv. K. P. Muhammad Shareef and others participated.
