Three new mosques to be built in UAE

Abu Dhabi : The UAE-based General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has signed a contract for the establishment of three mosques in the Western Region, to be financed by the Emirates Red Crescent.

The move receives the support of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent.

These mosques will be built in the areas of Madinat Zayed, Al Selaa, Al Mirfa and each can accommodate 400 worshippers.

They will be completed during the first quarter of 2017.
