Lahore : Former prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has net wealth at Rs.102.4 million but does not own a car, according to his nomination papers submitted to the Election Commission (EC)
Sharif showed Rs.706,425 cash in hand while total assets owned by him in 2007 were worth Rs.18,537,100, according to The News.
He has not paid any tax in the fiscal years of 2005, 2006 and 2007, when he lived in exile.
He owns a plot at Upper Mall, Lahore, besides agricultural lands in Mauza Bhogtian, Raiwind, and Mauza Mandiali, Sheikhupura. According to the nomination papers, he has invested Rs.160 million in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills.
