Ahmedabad : Surat-based Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) is holding an entrepreneurship festival called Entru-meet aimed at encouraging students to turn into entrepreneurs.
The idea is to make students oriented towards entrepreneurship, said D.V. Bhatt, in-charge of SVNIT’s entrepreneurship development cell, Monday.
“We want undergraduate students to focus on becoming entrepreneurs,” said Bhatt.
Entru-meet will be held Oct 6-7, in association with entrepreneurship cells of Indian Institute of Technology at Mumbai and Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad. The Global Entrepreneurship Network is also associated with the meet.
The event is designed to equip upcoming businessmen with every skill they would need to build a new firm, Bhatt said. It will also feature lectures and workshops on social entrepreneurship.
