Vadodara : Cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar was felicitated by the Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) on reaching the milestone of 400th one-day international (ODI) matches here Thursday.
The fifth ODI against Australia was Tendulkar’s 400th ODI. He became the second player in the world after former Sri Lankan skipper Sanath Jayasuriya to reach the milestone.
Local lads Irfan and Yusuf Pathan, part of India’s Twenty20 World Championships winning squad, were also felicitated by BCA president Chirayu Amin.

Vadodara match insured for Rs.78.2 million
The fifth match of the Future Cup ODI series here Thursday between India and Australia was insured for Rs.78.2 million.
“This is the second largest insured amount in this series. The largest insurance for a match during this series was in Hyderabad,” said Leander Dias, administrative officer of The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd.
