Harare : The opposition leader of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) in Zimbawe Morgan Tsvangirai committed himself to respecting the results of the general elections last Saturday.
Tsvangirai affirmed he will never call himself winner of the contest for the presidential seat before official communication from Zimbawe’s Electoral Commission(ZEC).
This last entity has only only reported over votes for the National Assembly seats in which MDC is ahead of the ruling party of Robert Mugabe by a minimal margin so far.
The results claim that the opposition won 85 seats plus five from a faction of dissidents against 85 from the Zimbawe-Patriotic Front African National Union (ZANU-PF) from Mugabe, when 35 electoral district are still missing.
Six million people voted in this country to elect the President, National Assembly deputies and regional governors.
