Neyveli (Tamil Nadu) : The eight-day-old strike by over 12,000 contract labourers of the state-run Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) ended Saturday after various unions had fruitful talks with the management.
Situated 250 km south of Tamil Nadu’s capital Chennai, NLC generates around 2,490 MW of power, which is distributed equally between the four south Indian states and the union territory of Puducherry.
