Fourth constituency candidate says his stances for serving Kuwait

By KUNA,

Kuwait : Fourth constituency candidate and former MP Mize’el Al-Nimran said all stances he adopted before dissolving the last parliament were intended to serve Kuwait and Kuwaitis.

In a seminar to inaugurate his campaign headquarters last night (Thursday), Al-Nimran said his supporting stand of the draft law proposal to write off citizens’ loans came as a result of “wrong policies” adopted by the Central Bank of Kuwait, which did not adopt a firm policy in dealing with the local banks and rose interest rates, adding to the citizens’ burden.

He also voiced dissatisfaction at the level of healthcare services presented, saying that the Ministry of Health had sent 120,000 citizens for treatment abroad, thus aggravating deterioration of these services.

Al-Nimran urged all Fourth Constituency candidates, and all nominees, to steer clear off slandering each other, as well as he wished all nominees the best.

Al-Nimran came first according to the previous electoral system of 25 constituencies, where he represented constituency no. 15 (al-Farwania, al-Firdous and al-Rehab). Former MP and current candidate Ali Al-Diqbasi came in second.

The Fourth Constituency is the second largest regarding the number of voters, after the Fifth Constituency, with 93,710 male and female eligible voters.
