New Delhi: Injustice and partisan approach of authorities are sole reasons behind terrorism, and to defeat terrorism, justice with all and equal rights for all will have to be ensured, said Union State Minister for Home Prakash Jaiswal on 25th April.

Addressing Delhi state Quresh conference organized by All India Jamiatul Quresh, Jaiswal said this is wrong to associate Islam with terrorism, and whoever does so is the biggest terror. He said sentiments of Muslims are being hurt by accusing them of terrorism under a planned conspiracy.

Calling Islam a religion of peace and well-being, he said the religion of Islam has always opposed terrorism vehemently and has spread the message of love in the world. He also said the culprits of Gujarat genocide 2002 will be definitely punished. If violence erupts in any state, no hesitation will be made in sacking that government, he said.

Union Minister for Science and Technology Kapil Sibal said the Congress-led UPA government made several proposals in 2008 budget that would directly benefit poor and weaker sections of the Muslim community. He said whereas the government has decided to open schools Muslim locations to promote education in the community, it has also decided to extend all possible help and cooperation to madrasas.
