UAE leaders greet Muslims on Ramadan

Abu Dhabi : UAE leaders Sunday greeted Arab and Muslim leaders on the advent of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which may begin from Sep 1 in the Gulf region subject to the appearance of the crescent.

President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in their messages to Arab and Muslim kings, emirs and presidents, wished them good health, and prosperity to the people of the respective countries, according to the official Emirates News Agency WAM.

Sheikh Mohammad, as also Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, sent similar cables of greetings to Arab and Muslim leaders.
