Tehran : The Arab states in the region are not afraid of Iran despite US massive efforts to spread Iranophobia in the region, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Hassan Qashqavi, said on Monday.
He made the remarks commenting on a recent meeting in New York, held by the Group 5+1 members states and a number of Arab countries about Iran’s peaceful nuclear issue.
Western states are trying to change their aggressive diplomacy into a public diplomacy and that is a sign of their failure, Qashqavi told reporters at his weekly press conference.
He referred to deep cultural, historic and religious common points between Iran and Arab states in the region stressing that change of the diplomacy would by no means influence Iran’s will to vindicate its legitimate rights to produce nuclear energy.
