Kish Island : Majlis Representative from Kurdestan Farideh Aminol-Islami said on Sunday that all religious minorities enjoy equal rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Speaking on the sidelines of a gathering on Communication Network of Women NGO’s in the Islamic Republic of Iran, she said the women can play a much more active part in their society and take a leading role to this end.
Grounds for further cooperation of women is well-prepared, she said and called the government to give them more support.
Holding such gatherings and activities leave very positive impacts in the society, she said.
The two-day seminar is being held to represent views of women from various groups and organizations as well as religious minorities.
Over 500 Iranian women are attending the gathering in Kish Island.
