Islamabad : The Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari, Amir Jamaat-e Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed and President Pakistan Muslim League Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Wednesday visited the bereaved family of Surgeon General of Pakistan Army, Lt Gen Mushtaq Ahmed Baig to condole his death. Lt Gen Mushtaq Baig got martyred in a suicide attack in Rawalpindi on Monday.
According to the official sources, all the three leaders separately visited the residence of Lt Gen Mushtaq A. Baig and condoled the death of their beloved one with the bereaved family.
They said the country had lost a very brave and professional doctor. They said targeting the people who saved others’ lives was the worst crime, adding those responsible for the incident are stigma on humanity.
They prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to face this loss with fortitude.
