Beirut : Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora discussed here on Friday with a number of Arab foreign ministers prospects of the emergency ministerial meeting of the Arab foreign ministers to be held in Cairo next Sunday.
The Information Office of Seniora in a statement said that Siniora received a telephone call from the Foreign Minister of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit.
The discussion among the ministers tackled the agenda of the ministerial conference and the prospects for this meeting and the desired results from it.
The Ministerial Meeting is expected to discuss developments of the Lebanese crisis, particularly the failure of the Lebanese to reach a consensus over election of a new President to the Republic.
