Gaza : Five people died Wednesday and another five were injured by impacts from the Israeli Air Force on the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of dead Palestinians here in the last hours to 24.
In one of the attacks, three people from the same family were killed and three more wounded, when the vehicle in which they were travelling was hit by a missile from an Israeli Air Force plane in eastern Gaza.
Brothers Amer and Mohammed Al Yazji lost their lives together with Amer s 13-year-old son, according to medical sources.
A military spokesman in Tel Aviv said the action was not intentional, because the missile was aimed at another vehicle in which were possible members of the Islamic Jihad.
Another two people died in the evening in similar circumstances, near the Al Bureij Refugee Camp, and three people were injured.
Between yesterday and today 24 people were killed and more than 50 wounded as a consequence of this most lethal attack by Israeli forces.
The Palestine National Authority decreed three days of mourning and a general strike, and the crimes were repudiated by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and former Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh.
Iranian President Mahmud Admadineyah and Arab League Secretary General Amr Mousa also condemned this massacre.
Mahmud Admadineyah criticized the atrocities of the Zionist regime and ratified his support to the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement.
Mousa stated that systematic attacks against Gaza cause many victims every day, and that is a reflection of the bloody policy followed by Israel.
