Cairo : Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Al-Siniora has held discussions with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on the situation in Lebanon in light of the postponement of the election of the new Lebanese president for the 13th time.
During the meeting Thursday, they reviewed the developments in Lebanon and efforts by the Arab League to solve the crisis.
Mubarak asserted, Wednesday, that the Arab initiative on Lebanon is the best means to solve the Lebanese crisis.
Siniora’s visit to Egypt comes a few days ahead of the Arab foreign ministers’ meeting on Sunday in Cairo.
