Tehran : A lawmaker from Tehran Ahmad Ahmadi said here Saturday that the world of Islam should not keep silent in the face of crimes perpetrated by the Israeli regime.
Ahmadi told IRNA that the US and its allies are accountable for Gaza events, so Islamic countries should not sit idle against the crimes.
He said Muslim heads of state have kept mum in the face of Israel’s atrocities and do not show any reaction against the massacre of innocent Palestinian women and children.
He added that these days, Gazans have been subject to Israel’s attacks more than ever and it is the duty of all Muslims to support them.
The lawmaker said, “We are daily witnessing martyrdom of tens of Palestinian citizens, especially women and children, and international community do not pay any attention to that.”
He noted that the Palestinian nation do not have access to fuel, water and electricity and need help.
The Iranian parliamentarian said the US President George W. Bush’s tour of Middle East prepared the ground for massacre of the Palestinian people and Muslim nations have no other expectation from the US in that connection.
