Two Punjab youth killed in Portugal

Chandigarh : Two youth from Punjab were killed in Portugal after a scuffle with another person from the state, as per information reaching their families.

The victims, Kulwinder Singh of a village near Tanda town in Hoshiarpur district and Ravinder from a village in Jalandhar district, were attacked Tuesday. Both were residing near Lisbon.

They picked up a fight with the assailant over money they had paid to him for getting permanent residency in Portugal. When he refused to give the money or arrange original residency papers, they argued with him.

The attacker, identified by police as Jassa, stabbed both youth with help of a few accomplices.

Information reaching their families here said that the Portugal police had arrested 10 attackers.
