Islamabad : At least four policemen were killed and another sustained injuries in an attack on a police van in a northern Pakistani city.
The overnight attack took place in Peshawar, capital of North-West Frontier Province (NWFP), when the police van was on routine patrol.
According to news reports on Monday, some unknown miscreants ambushed the police vehicle by starting indiscriminate firing at them. As result, they said, four policemen were killed and a senior police officer sustained injuries.
