Agra : A man and his son were killed when lightning struck a hut in which they had taken shelter in Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district, the police said Sunday.
Lightning Saturday struck a hut where Hori Lal, 42, and his son Darshan, 10, had taken shelter from the rain in village Khairgarh in Firozabad district, about 50 km from here. Diwari Lal, who was with them, was taken to hospital with serious burn injuries.
The police said the three were working in the field and had rushed to the hut to avoid getting wet.
