Two Brit Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan

Kabul : Two British soldiers from the International Security Assistance Forces (ISAF) died in a dynamite blast and a combat with Afghan rebels in Helmand southern province, military sources reported Wednesday.

The blast occurred in Nahri Sharjah district while the military vehicle was patrolling the region

The second soldier also died during a fight with afghan rebels in Sangin Valley in Helmand province, according to a communiqué from ISAF, under NATO command.

With this figure the numbers of British troops killed in Afghanistan have reached 108, since Washington led the invasion to this country in November 2001.

Up to now 102 US soldiers have died in Afghanistan since late in January.

In addition, the Pentagon has reported that its troops killed 22 alleged Afghan rebels in Kabul during last nigh clashes in different districts of Paktika southern province.
