Shimla : The budget session of the Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly begins Tuesday.
It will be the first budget session of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, which swept to power a little over two months ago.
There will be 23 sittings in all and the budget will be presented by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal March 7. It will be passed March 27, a spokesman of the state legislative assembly said Monday.
There will be an eight-day recess March 15-23.
