Islamabad : Pakistan has lodged strong protest with US-led coalition forces in the neighboring Afghanistan after a strike killed four persons including two children in the bordering region.
Two women and two children were killed with artillery shells fired by US troops in North Waziristan tribal agency of Pakistan. The strike also destroyed the victims house.
Military spokesman, Ather Abbas, talking to media, confirmed the incident and said that a strongly-worded protest has been lodged with the US troops.
According to tribal sources, coalition troops fired four missiles that landed three kilometers inside Pakistani territory on late on Wednesday. One of the missiles hit a house that killed four persons.
