New Delhi : The seventh convocation ceremony of the Tata Football Academy saw 17 cadets graduate after four years of specialised training in Jamshedpur, Friday.
Of the 17 cadets graduating this year, thirteen have had the distinction of representing India in categories of various age groups. Among them, Henry Gangte was adjudged Promising Player of Durand Cup 2007 while Rakesh Masih and Branco Cardozo represented India in the pre-Olympic Qualifiers
Mohun Bagan has absorbed eight cadets while five were picked up by East Bengal. Churchill Brothers and Salgaocar Club grabbed two each. The players have been accepted with a remuneration ranging between Rs.12,00,000 to Rs.20,00,000.
