Chanderkote, India : Ahead of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to Baglihar today, tight security arrangements have been made and army personnel have been positioned at vantage points in Ramban district.
While army men have taken positions on sensitive places, hill tops and forest belts, CRPF personnel have been put on duty to guard the national highway leading to Baglihar where he will commission the 450 MW hydel power project and address a public rally, police said.
After commissioning the Baglihar project, he will fly to Srinagar where he will flag off train service at Nowgam railway station tomorrow.
