Jordan, Iran to Boost Cooperation

Amman : Jordan and Iran has signed five agreements and letter of intent to boost bilateral cooperation in the scientific, cultural, transportation and technical spheres, reported news sources from both countries.

The Jordan Minister of Industry and Commerce Amir al Hadidi and the Iranian Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mohammad Saeedi-Kia signed the documents defining the forms of exchange and investments between Teheran and Amman.

Saeedi-Kia visited this country leading the Persian delegation to the ninth session of the Joint Economic Commission, according to news spread by the Jordan Petra and Iranian IRNA agencies.

The meeting allowed both nations to study the ways to carry out cooperation, noted IRNA adding that the Iranian delegation was made up of representative from key branches in the social and technological environment.

Teheran and Amman have agreed to boost cultural, and economic bilateral cooperation based on 25 agreements which are now extended to other fields with the new documents.
