Islamabad : The death toll in northwestern Pakistan blast has risen to 30 as more bodies were recovered from rubble on Saturday.
The blast took place when an explosives-laden car hit a police station on Kohat Road of Peshawar, capital of North West Frontier Province (NWFP). Two buildings near the police station collapsed in the blast and a number of people were buried under the rubble.
The blast has left 30 dead and about 80 injured, News Network International (NNI) news agency quoted police chief Kashif Alam as saying.
Two policemen were also missing, Alam said.
The death toll could rise later as the rescue work is underway.
