New Delhi : Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi has asked younger members of the Indian diaspora to develop and cement bonds with the land of their forefathers.
He was addressing 31 young men and women who met him at the end of their three-week sojourn under the “Know India Programme”.
Ravi said that India was proud of the current generation of Indian diaspora who have reached important positions in their countries.
This time, there were 12 participants from South Africa, followed by six from Israel.
The delegation travelled to Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, besides Delhi, as part of the tour.
