Berlin : Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad leads the ranking of top international politicians in terms of their overall political qualities, according to an opinion poll released Tuesday by the Munich-based weekly news magazine Focus.
Ahmadinejad had the highest score among the world’s leading 32 politicians, among them US President Barack Obama and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.
Some 6,918 out of a total of 35,270 people cast their vote for the Iranian president whose combined grade was 2,76 with 1 being the best and 6 being the worst grade.
The survey’s grading of the world leaders dwelt on their overall presence, the power to lead, their negotiation skills and rhetoric.
Meanwhile, Cuban leader Fidel Castro, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, and the presidents of Venezuela and Bolivia, Hugo Chavez and Evo Morales were also listed in the top five category.
