New Delhi: A thick fog engulfed most parts Delhi Wednesday evening but air traffic to and from the capital city continued undisrupted.
“There is no disruption of flight schedules at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. It is normal though there are some delays but not due to the fog,” a Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) spokesman told IANS.
The spokesman said the visibility at the airport was “manageable” and pilots till late evening had no problem in landing and taking off.
Though the fog also didn’t disrupt train schedules, some trains were nevertheless affected because of the backlog of the past few days.
