New Delhi : Facebook, popular social networking site, Monday said it will open an office at Hyderabad, its first in Asia.
The office in Hyderabad will support users, advertisers and developers in India and around the world, according to a statement issued by the company.
The move is part of a push to establish support centres in multiple time zones, with round-the-clock, multilingual support, the company said, adding that the office will supplement operations supported out of Palo Alto, California, Dublin, Ireland and a recently announced location in Austin, Texas.
Facebook has around 400 million users, of which more than eight million are in India.
