New Delhi : Supporters of social activist Anna Hazare Monday protested noisily outside the Congress headquarters here demanding a strong Lokpal bill to battle corruption.
Hazare had Saturday asked people to stage protests in front of homes of MPs.
Holding national flags, the Hazare supporters gathered outside 24, Akbar Road and raised slogans against corruption.
“This party got a whopping majority in the last election and this is how they treat the voters? We will not vote for the Congress if it doesn’t pass the Lokpal bill,” said Abhishek Suneja, who had painted a tri-colour on his forehead.
The protesters were not allowed to enter the premises as police barricaded the entrance.
