Dhaka : Nearly 2,000 banana plants were felled in a Bangladeshi village.
The incident occurred Tuesday night at Bhotarpara village, the Daily Star reported Friday.
“The plants became fruit-bearing in the last two months,” said Azizul, the farmer.
On being informed by villagers, Azizul went to his orchard and found that all the plants felled down.
Police suspect that the plants were damaged due to personal enmity.
