By IANS,

Brussels : NATO Friday condemned “in the strongest possible terms the indiscriminate violence and the senseless loss of innocent lives” in Wednesday’s Mumbai terror attacks, EuAsiaNews reported.

“These attacks against innocent civilians are outrageous and on behalf of the Alliance I want to express my sincere condolences to the Indian authorities, and especially to the families of the victims,” NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said in a press statement.

He expressed “deepest sympathies to the victims of the brutal terrorist attacks in heavily populated areas of Mumbai”.

Three blasts in India’s financial hub at Dadar, Zaveri Bazaar and Opera House areas killed at least 17 people and left 131 injured.
