New Delhi: Seeking to expand trading ties between Indian and Brazilian companies, India’s commerce ministry and a leading industry lobby are organising a four-day “India Show” in Rio De Janeiro.
“With 70 companies from India participating in the exhibition (March 11-14), the event promises to increase relations between the two countries,” Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), which is one of the organisers, said in a statement Saturday.
The Indian companies were upbeat on promoting trade ties between the two countries, especially in the field of infrastructure, logistics and food processing, it said.
Currently, India is the 16th largest exporter to Brazil, while the South American country is the 10th largest exporter to India.
