New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari Monday ruled out any post-poll alliance for the party.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a Holi get-together in the national capital a day ahead of the poll results, Gadkari also called the Congress party as “opportunistic”.
“We will have no alliance with BSP (Bahujan Samaj party) or SP (Samajwadi Party),” Gadkari said talking about Uttar Pradesh, where SP and BSP are the key regional players.
He alleged there was “a secret understanding” between the Congress and the SP and BSP.
Results of the assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur will be declared Tuesday.
