Anti-malaria campaign launched in Delhi

By IANS,

New Delhi : The Tony Blair Faith Foundation Wednesday launched a programme here for raising awareness about malaria.

The Where’s The Net programme features a mosquito net which is considered the cheapest protection against malaria. The net has been to 26 countries before coming to India.

“In India, the net will travel to 15 locations which are considered high risk for malaria. In 13 locations, the net will be hosted by schools as these are perhaps the best place to create awareness in a community,” foundation fellow Aparajita Bharti told IANS.

The campaign works towards malaria eradication.
