Dubai : Dubai will host the Middle East’s largest agri-business trade event next month.
Now in its second year, the AGRA Middle East 2012 will be organised at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 2-4. It will showcase advancements in agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture, floriculture, fisheries and aquaculture.
Abdulaziz Al Harbi, of King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, has said amid increasing population and climate change affecting agriculture, food as a strategic resource is a challenge that Gulf Cooperation Council countries must overcome together.
