New Delhi: The fourth day of the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) concluded in a very stylish, colourful and vibrant manner with designer Ranna Gill’s collection titled “Exotica”.
The show being sponsored by Fiama Di Wills, an Indian personal care brand, Gill’s collection had drawn inspiration from the kind of products it sells.
“I worked with Fiama D’Will for this show. I was called ‘exotica’ and like Fiama is always inspired by fashion, innovation, I kind of applied the same rule and wove it though my fabric. Each cut and colour, each weft and wrap carry forward the theme, where a multitude of interesting ingredients amalgamate to form desirable creations,” Gill told reporters Tuesday night after her show.
The show began with an ariel dance and it was a three part collection. Showcasing maxis, kaftans, jersey dresses, tunis and skirts, it was a mixed bag complete collection.
Calling jersey as the USP of the collection she added: “My collection is for everyone of the beautiful girls out there who are intelligent, fun, smart and value her money.”
