Bengaluru: A statement by the Campus Front of India has condemned the Bengaluru blast that left 16 persons injured, many of whom were policemen.
“It is sad on part of the citizens of Karnataka, that the heinous act of terrorism has marked the peaceful city Bangalore on 17 April 2013 once again. Campus Front of India shares the sorrows of the citizens and condemns this cowardly act of terror,” read a press statement by CFI.
Question the timing of the blast; it wondered if the purpose of ‘terrorizing’ had some connection with the coming state assembly elections.
“Campus front of India doubts that such terror acts are carried to turn over the election procedure of the country and to divert the emotionality and mindset of the peaceful citizens of the state,” it added.
