New Delhi: A delegation of Khudai Khidmatgar met the Chairman of National Commission for Minorities (NCM) Wajahat Habibullah and urged him to take immediate actions.

A delegation lead by Khudai Khidmatgar Secretary Inamul Hasan, Moulana Fateh Mohd, Mohd Faizan, Verma Ji and members of other Civil societies met the NCM Chairman at his office and submitted a memorandum.

During discussion with the Wajahat Habibullah urged all sections of the society to maintain peace and to work together towards communal harmony. He also stressed on the need of relief materials to reach the victims on time.

They also visited the offices of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), and leaders of several political parties and sought appointment from them, besides submitting the memorandum, urging them to press for immediate actions to maintain law and order in Muzaffarnagar and other districts of Western UP.

Khudai Khidmatgar expressed concerns on migration of people from minority community to ‘safer places’ comparing it with the last year Assam riots and decade old Gujarat pogrom, when we saw similar pattern, though on much larger scale.
