Advocate Mukul Sinha, a great courageous person

By Abdul Hannan Siwani Nadvi for TwoCircles.net

Mr. Mukul Sinha is no more. He died on May 12th, 2014 in Ahmedabad. He left when many cases related to Gujarat Genocide of 2002 are remained unfinished. His struggle for the rights of Gujarat genocide victims was remarkable. He was not much old. He was just 62 years old. Looking at his services, works and dedication for good cause, he was in need of more time to do some more good work for victims of injustice.

The persons, like him, are few in today’s commercialized society. He left at that time when Gujarat victims and society were in need of his support and advices. The job he done specially for Gujarat Genocide victims, was not an easy task. He was very courageous person who stood against the corrupt system.

It is said, those, who work for good cause and fight against injustice, enjoy a very short life. Mr. Mukul Sinha was one of them. He stood in favour of Gujarat genocide victims when almost all society, local and central administrations were against the victims and those who stood for them.

I personally never met him, nor have any contacts with him, but his sad demise shocked me. I always saw him in newspapers and in electronic media. I saw him in many debates defending the victims and how justice to be prevailed. He was very calm and wise person. One Mukul Sinha was enough against the destructive forces.

Though, we have lost him but his services cannot be forgotten easily. His life, his struggle and works will inspire all of us.
