PCB nominee on ICC Code of Conduct Commission

Lahore : The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has nominated Aslam Sanjrani, former federal secretary as well as chief secretary of Sindh, as its nominee on the International Cricket Council (ICC) Code of Conduct Commission panel.

The commission conducts official enquiries and investigates relevant matters pertaining to breaches of the code of conduct. It was an official enquiry of the commission that recommended removal of life ban on former Pakistan player Ata-ur-Rehman last year.

Ata-ur-Rehman was banned for his alleged role in match fixing.

Sanjrani, who holds a master of arts as well as a law degree, has served the government of Pakistan in various capacities since 1998. He has played first class cricket in Pakistan and also toured as associate manager of the Pakistan team to India in 1979.

He has remained associated with cricket in various positions throughout his career.
