PFI elects new general secretary in Kerala

Malappuram:The Popular Front of India elected new office-bearers in Kerala. P Abdul Hameed of Kozhikode has been elected the new general secretary and Karamana S Ashraf Moulvi of Thiruvananthapuram is the new vice-president.

They were elected in the state executive council held in Kozhikode yesterday. The new election is reportedly on account of changes in the organizational level. EM Abdurahman, chairman of the PFI, led the election procedures.

The meeting analysed the arrangements of the Freedom Parade to be held in Kannur and Idukki on the Independence Day. Ambedkar Samaj Party president Thej Singh (Delhi), Social Democratic Party of India president E Aboobaker, general secretary A Saeed, treasurer Salamudheen Khuraishi, NCHRO Kerala chapter president Dr MS Jayaprakash and Idukki Diocese president Father Mar Mathew Anikkuzhikkattil will attend the Parade.
