Islamabad : Pakistan and India have agreed to restore bilateral trade immediately as part of confidence-building measures, said Pakistan’s Trade Secretary, Salman Ghani.
While talking to a private news channel, he said “Both secretaries agreed to restore bilateral trade immediately.” Pakistan would do all it takes to increase trade between the two countries, Ghani said.
He pointed out that he had held an open discussion on trade with Indian Trade Secretary Rahul Khullar.
Trade ties between India and Pakistan will be in the greater interest of the business communities of both countries. “Traders on both sides want better trade ties. Both sides want an increase in exports,” said Ghani, adding that once the composite dialogue process resumed, all issues would be brought to the table.
