Mumbai : India’s best young talent led by Rashid Khan, who won the Faldo Series Asia final in China and runner-up Rahul Bakshi will have the top billings at the Sunfeast Western India junior and sub-junior golf championships at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club starting Tuesday.
The four-day event forms the fourth leg of the Sunfeast Junior Golf Tour.
Also in the field will be S. Chikkarangappa who became the youngest player to represent the country in the Nomura Cup and Amanjyot Singh, winner of British Open Junior title in 2006.
Over 120 golfers from all over the country will be in action in four categories. While it will be a four-round stroke play format for the first three categories – A, B and C, the players in category D will contest in three rounds. A cut at top-40 plus ties will be applied after two rounds.
